Welcome to Pendergrass Fairwold School, home of the Grizzly Bears. We are beginning a brand new school year. We thank you for your support and for allowing us to work with your child this school year. We have lots of plans, events and activities ready to start the school year. However, we need our school family to share our events and activities. We look forward to seeing you often at the school and in your child's classroom. Please find the web page your child's teacher has posted. Visit the web page often so you can see all the wonderful things happening in that classroom. You can even send e-mails to let us know you are in touch. We look forward to an exciting year filled with achievement and new adventures. Do share our adventures, both at school and on the web.

From the Principal

It has been a pleasure to welcome our students back for another year. We have many plans for the year and are excited about all the achievements and accomplishments we anticipate your children experiencing. Teacher are creating new materials that we hope will motivate them to gain new skills and become more adept at using adaptative equipment which will improve their ability to communicate and interact appropriately in school and community settings.

We will of course need your help to achieve learning goals for your children. Success will always be based upon the home/school partnership. We welcome your input and your visits to your child's class and to our school.

We will be sending mail to you often. Please check your child's book bag for important information and respond as quickly as possible. Your child's teacher will alert you by phone, if you consistently miss information sent to you. Also note the school's yearly calendar and come out to visit often.
